When a real-estate brand approached me with the need for a dynamic, lead-generating website, the brief was clear: create a polished web presence that not only looks premium but also functions as a fully integrated listings platform via the property database (MLS/IDX).

I delivered a responsive WordPress site that seamlessly pulls and displays live listings, elevates brand identity, engages buyers and sellers, and converts visitors into actionable leads.

Challenge

In a crowded market where prospective home-buyers expect real-time access to listings, a static website isn’t enough. The client needed a website that could showcase every active listing, automatically update with the MLS feed, allow intuitive property search, filter by criteria, and generate leads — all while preserving a strong brand image and delivering a user-friendly, mobile-first experience.

My Approach

  • Brand-led design: I created a visual identity and layout that reflects the high-end positioning of the client — clean typography, spacious layout, strong imagery, and intuitive navigation geared toward both buyers and sellers.

  • WordPress build with MLS/IDX feed: I integrated the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) feed (via IDX) so that property listings automatically populate the site without manual entry. This ensures up-to-date inventory and reduces maintenance time.

  • Advanced search & filter UX: I implemented property search functionality enabling users to filter by location, price, type, and key features, as well as save searches and receive alerts.

  • Responsive & performance-optimized: Many users browse listings on mobile devices, I ensured the website is fully responsive, fast-loading and works across screens.

  • Lead capture & conversion-oriented flows: I structured the site to guide visitors toward contact, listing requests, property viewing scheduling and lead forms — turning website traffic into actionable engagement for the client.

  • Scalable & manageable: I provided the client with an intuitive WordPress backend, documentation, and training so they can manage blog updates, listings (via feed), and lead contacts themselves, making the website a long-term asset rather than just a one-off build.

Outcome & Value

  • The website now functions as both a branding tool and a listing engine, raising the client’s professional perception while capturing leads in their target market.

  • Thanks to the MLS/IDX integration, listings are always live and updated without manual labour — improving accuracy and time efficiency.
