Classroom Champions

3D Modeling and Logo Branding Design

3D Design

Motion Design

I was asked to concept, design and bring to life the visual identity for a “Classroom Champions” segment on KKTV 11 News — a feature highlighting outstanding young students in Colorado. My role spanned the lifecycle of the brand mark: from 2D logo creation to a fully-rendered 3D version, motion-ready for broadcast use.

Concept & Logo Development

The project began with a clear brief: design a logo that communicates achievement, academic excellence and an elevated visual presence — suitable for on-air TV graphics, station opens and repeatable IDs. I sketched and refined multiple logo directions, ultimately settling on one that balanced strong typographic presence (“Classroom Champions”) with dynamic visual energy.

2D to 3D Conversion & Broadcast-Ready Visuals

• Once the 2D logo was approved (designed in Photoshop), I imported the vector assets into Cinema 4D and built a full 3D model of the logo.
• I applied lighting, materials and camera movement to bring depth and dimensionality — ensuring that the mark would stand out in studio backdrops, promos and live-ident sequences.
• With the 3D logo live, I created multiple “tag” spots, opens, IDs and branded animations in After Effects — seamlessly integrating 3D renders with motion graphics transitions, station branding and broadcast deliverables.

Why This Matters

  • End-to-end branding capability: From concept sketching through to 3D execution and broadcast-animation, I can deliver full-spectrum visual identity work — not just logo design but motion-enabled brand marks.

  • 3D modelling for brand marks: The ability to turn a flat logo into a clean 3D asset means your brand can live across broadcast, web, motion-graphics, even immersive experiences — offering versatility.

  • Broadcast-safe deliverables: Understanding studio backgrounds, on-air requirements, logo animation pacing and station ID demands means I can deliver assets ready to drop in rather than requiring rework.

  • Scalable for multiple media: Whether you need a static logo for print, a 3D animated ID for TV, or looping graphic for social/streaming, I can provide the variants you need.
