I was commissioned to conceptualize and produce a high-impact, visually-rich commercial for Andy’s Hot Sauce. This project brought together cinematic storytelling, real-time 3D rendering, motion graphics, and AI-driven creative workflows.

Concept & Storyboarding

The project began with a refined storyboard and visual concept—defining the narrative arc, pacing, camera angles, key visual moments (including the bottle reveal and the climactic explosion sequence). The goal: to deliver a bold, immersive spot that positions the brand as dynamic, memorable and premium.

Unreal Engine 5 Real-Time 3D Production

Using Unreal Engine 5 as the core tool, I built the entire scene in real time. I leveraged the Motion Design Toolset’s new Cloner feature to replicate elements with precision and efficiency, enabling visually extensive scenes without sacrificing performance.

I integrated volumetric VDB effects inside Unreal to craft a dramatic nuclear-style explosion that serves as the visual crescendo, combining scale, light, and physics-based rendering for maximum impact.

AI-Enhanced Production Pipeline

To further enrich the visual storytelling, I incorporated AI-driven workflows:

• Using Midjourney and Runway to generate concept art, mood-boards and certain footage elements that would have been labor-intensive otherwise.

• Using AI prompts to create and animate lip footage, which I then composited into the scene—blending generative and practical techniques.

By combining realtime 3D rendering with AI-augmented assets and motion-design techniques, the final piece delivers a compelling mix of speed, creativity and visual sophistication.
