After the company re-branded from KKTV 11 News to KKTV 11 Alert in 2024, I was tasked with creating some new animated ID segments for our station that would run sporadically. ®
For these segments I took an approach that was going to incorporate live footage with 3D animated elements. The main focus was the logo of course, but there are many different ways of showing the logo, and also sub-versions that were for weather and sports.
As far as software is concerned, I used Photoshop, After Effects, Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine 5 to create 5 different ID's that are 4 seconds each. I tried a variety of different effects and styles to give each one a unique flair.
